Medium:
Currently, I am working in a non-toxic intaglio printing process, developed by Keith Howard and several other people, which uses a polymer photosensitive base and is developed in sodium carbonate.
I use photographs and drawings taken from travel and still lives and layer images onto the matrix of the plate. These images are etched into the acrylic base. I use both etching and relief inks in a variety of colors and viscosity of oils to blend the layers, and lastly paint images onto the plate, trying to get the effect I’m interested in.
